 Gerry has over thirty years of exceptionally broad experience in personal Financial Affairs Management and entrepreneurial ownership management. His client base, which extends from Maine to Florida, includes business owners, corporate executives, attorneys, physicians, architects, surviving spouses and the independently wealthy. Gerry has appeared as an expert witness before the Ways and Means Committee of the United States Congress and the General Law Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly on matters relating to private business ownership. He has frequently appeared as a featured speaker at conventions of business owners including The National Tooling and Machining Association, The National Roofing Contractors Association and the National Association of Electrical Distributors.
Gerry has also been continually active in government and community affairs. He is a resident of Farmington, Connecticut and has served as a member of the Farmington Board of Education, and the Farmington Town Council. In addition, Gerry served as Chairman of the Farmington Town Council. He is also a past member of the Republican State Central Committee. Other public service includes having served as Chairman of the University of Connecticut Health Center Advisory Board, as a member of the Board of Directors of Riverfront Recapture, Inc., as a member of the Professional Advisory Council of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and as a member of the Board of Directors for Camp Courant, a free summer day camp for underprivileged Hartford children.
In 2003, Gerry became the first recipient of Farmington's Banner Citizen Award established by the Farmington Town Council to recognize individuals who have made significant personal contributions to the betterment of the Farmington community. In 2005, Gerry was recognized as Citizen of the Year by the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.
Gerry served in the United States Marine Corps and graduated with honors from Bowdoin College.
